Today Monkey Picked Oolong represents the premium pick of Iron Goddess of the year. In the mountain of Fujian, China this tea is hand picked, only the youngest two leafs at the top and the bud in spring and fall, then lightly roasted and fermented to perfection. Its pale golden liquor delivers a distinctive soft floral aroma that engages the entire palate. We strongly recommend brewing this tea using gaiwan or clay teapot with boiled filtered water yielding its own special character. Perfect choice for advanced oolong drinkers.
