At home, I drink pu-er from my stock of aged cakes, and am fairly particular. At work, this is just too messy and too much of a hassle, so I started my search for a loose-leaf pu-er that I liked. Lots of disappointing teas in that category. I tried this in the store about a year ago, and have been drinking it every day at work, since.

This is for people who prefer ripe pu-er that leans toward earthiness and substance, without being heavy. It reliably produces what I consider a balanced ripe pu-er taste with no tendencies toward bitterness or an astringent mouth-feel. It brews all day long, too, without losing much flavor or developing odd end-of-leaf tastes.

I don't think any pu-er aficionados are going to be blown away with this tea, but it also won't disappoint either. I don't think you could do any better with a ripe, loose-leaf pu-er, if your tastes are similar to mine.
